Ingredients
Directions
½ tbsp Imperial (or other margarine) 2 servings-Great Value mini marshmallows (1 serving is 2/3 cup) 3.5 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats cereal
Makes 10 servings
Measure ½ tbsp of margarine (I used imperial) and place in a small sauce pan (on medium heat). When the butter has melted, add the marshmallows, (turn the fire down from medium to low heat). Make sure you stir the marshmallows (with a wooden or rubber spoon or spatula) periodically so the marshmallows do not burn or turn brown. (It should only take about 2- 3 minutes or so to melt them.) Remove the sauce pan from the heat. Add the cereal and mix it up well with the melted marshmallows in the saucepan. It will be thick and sticky. Spread the mixture into a pan (of your choice). I used a glass casserole dish. Press down on the Rice Krispie Treats as you place them in the pan so they will be flattened out evenly. (or as much as possible). Once you have them flatten down to your liking, cut them into 10 squares. Let them cool or serve immediately and enjoy.
