Directions
I use McCormick chili seasoning packet, but didn't have the info to enter it and didn't want it to be wrong. Other than that as long as you use 4% fat grounf beef, all other ingrediant brands wont really matter. I use one large can of chili beans, not chil, just chili beans. 1 16 oz can of kidney beans. 1 16 oz can of the tomato sauce and 1 16 oz can of the diced tomatos, and 1 can 16 oz stewed tomotoes
cook ground beef and set aside. In the same pan as used for ground beef brown onions and peppers. In a large pan (dutch oven) Bring tomato sauce, diced tomatos, and seasoning to a boil, and ground beef and onions and peppers. Simmer on med-low for a minimum of 30 minutes (the longer the simmer the better the taste) Stir in both beans and heat on med-high for another 20-30 mins. makes 8 - 1 cup servings
