Best Ever Banana Bread (trust me)

1/2 cup shortening2 beaten eggs1 tsp lemon juice1 cup ripe bananas1 cup sugar1 1/4 Tbsp buttermilk1 1/2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp soda1/2 cup chopped walnuts2 cups flour1/4 cup saltPreheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and lemon juice. Add flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Grease and flour bread pan. Place ingredients into bread pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.

I think the servings should be 13 not 1 unless you eat the entire loaf - 8/11/09

This was the first recipe that I put on here. I wasn't sure how to do it...but yes...it is supposed to be 13 servings instead of one...but I could eat the whole loaf for sure!
