Marylu's Tortilla Black Bean Casserol

Ingredients
2 Cup Chopped Onion1 14oz Can Chopped Tomatoes2 Cloves minced garlic2 150z cans black beans, drained2 cups shredded monteray jack cheese1.5 Cup chopped green peppers160z picante sauce2 tsp ground cumin12 6" corn torillas
Directions
In a large skillet or pan, combine onion, green pepper, undrained tomatoes, picante sauce, garlic, and cumin. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in beans.

In a 13x9x2 pan, spread 1/3 bean mixture. Top with 6 tortillas, overlapping as necessary, top with 1/2 the cheese. Add another 1/3 of bean mix. Top with remaining tortillas, then remaining bean mix. Cover with aluminum foil, bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining cheese. Enjoy!!!
