Low Fat Almond Biscotti

Ingredients
2 cups Flour1 Tsp Baking Powder1/2 tsp Salt1/8 tsp Baking Soda2 eggs + 2 egg Whites1 cup Sugar1 1/2 Tbl Almon extract
Directions
Whip together the eggs and egg whites in large bowl.
Add Dry ingredients and mix with mixer till combined.
Fold in untoasted Almonds.
Mixture will be sticky but make 2 logs and place on Pammed Cookie Sheet (if you wet your hands, it will help dough from sticking to you)

Bake 30 min's at 325
Take out of oven and cool for 5-10 min's
Slice into 1/2" slices, cut on diagonal.
Place a cooling rack in cookie sheet and place slices on cooling rack cut side up.
Bake 30 min's turning once after 15 min's (this is where you are frying them out)

take out of oven and cool and Enjoy.

Makes 12 slices

    There are errors in this recipe. The directions say to add the untasted almonds. There are no almonds in the ingredient list. It also states to add 1-1/2 tablespoons of almond extract. This is way too much almond extract. This made the dough Have way too much liquid. - 7/13/19
