Potluck Chicken Casserole

1/2 c chopped fresh mushrooms3T finely chopped onion2 Garlic cloves, minced4T margarine3T flour1 1/4 c milk3/4 mayonaise4 c cubed, cooked chicken3 c cooked long grain rice1 c chopped celery1 c frozen peas1 jar(2 oz) diced pimentos, drained2 t lemon juice1 t salt1/2 t pepper3/4 coarsely crushed Corn Flakes
In saucepan over medium heat, saute onion, garlic, mushroom and 3T margarine until tender. Stir in flour until thoroughly combined. Gradually, add milk, bring to boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat, stir in mayonaise until smooth. Add chicken, rice, celery, peas, pimentos, lemon juice, salt and perrper. Mix Well. Spoon into ungreased 13x9 baking dish.
Melt remaining margarine, toss with corn flakes. Sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
