Macadamia Nut Cookies

Butter, unsalted, .5 cup Shortening, .5 cup Baking Soda, .5 tsp Powdered Sugar, 2.5 cup, unsifted *Flour, white, 2 cup *Flour, white, .5 cup Salt, .25 tsp Egg, fresh, 2 medium Macadamia Nuts, 1 cup, whole or halves
Combine dry ingredients, except the nuts.
Mix butter, shortening and eggs until smooth.
Combine with dry ingredients, mixing well.
Add nuts.
Drop 1 heaping teaspoon of mix on ungreased cookie sheet, placing each portion 2 inches apart.
Preheat oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 10- 12 minutes.
