Spaghetti sauce with Italian turkey sausage

1 pound of Ground turkey Italian Sausage2 small cans of tomato sauce1 small can of tomato paste1 can of diced tomatoes1/2 a large onion, diced1/2 a green bell pepper, diced1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon of mixed Italian herbs1 tablespoon olive oil1 tablespoon raw sugar (optional)water ( I filled the tomato pasted can 3 times with water and each of the tomato sauce cans once)
Heat the oil in a large pot. Add the ground turkey. Brown, stirring often until the turkey is in small pieces and no longer pink. Add the diced onion, peppers, and the seasonings. Brown until the veggies are beginning to soften. Add the tomato products and water and sugar. Stir to combine well and simmer over low heat for about one hour.
