Swedish Chocolate Spice Cookies

Ingredients
1.25 C. flour1 t. baking powder1/2 t. cinnamon1/8 t. salt1/4 t. each of clove, dry mustard, dry ginger, allspice, black pepper, and nutmeg1 stick unsalted butter3 sq. melted and cooled baking chocolate1 large egg2.5 oz. slivered almonds
Directions
Mix dry ingredients in food processor, add and process butter, then baking chocolate, then egg, then almonds (processing only long enough to mix). On plastic wrap or wax paper, form into a log about 14" long and 2" across. Wrap and freeze. Unwrap frozen log and slice into 48 slender cookies. Bake at 350° F about 8 minutes. They bake fast -- watch closely. Store in a tin.
