Sourdough Bread Pudding

Ingredients
1 tbsp margarine2 C heavy cream2/3 C sugar1/3 tsp vanilla4 egg yokes8 ounce loaf of sourdough bread1 1/4 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp nutmeg3 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
preheat oven to 350, and butter a small ovenproof glass dish.
to make batter: mix together cream, sugar, and vanilla in a small saucepan, and heat until tiny bubbles appear around edges. remove from heat. Very slowly whisk the hot liquid into the egg yokes.
