2 pounds shredded cabbage (or shredded store-bought slaw mix)1 tsp. salt1 cup white vinegar1/2 cup sugar1 cup water
Sprinkle the salt over the cabbage and set aside. Bring everything else to a boil , stirring occasionally, and pour the boiling liquid over the cabbage. Mix well and chill until serving time. Makes around 10 servings, depending on how big the servings are.
