Introduction

Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 can garbanzo beans
    3 tbsp lemon juice
    2 tbsp garlic-crushed is best
    1 tbsp paprika
    3 tbsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp thyme
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Makes 3-3/4 cup servings....or a med bowl for a party.

Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth. Vary the spices to suit your liking.

    Very yummy! The only change I made was that I added four cloves of garlic instead of three. Just the right amount of spice! :) - 1/7/12

    I used dried beans and added 2t sesame seeds while the beans cooked. It was so very smooth and hummus-y! Thanks for posting your recipe. It made me think I could make hummus, and I can! - 6/9/09

    This is very similar to my hummus recipe, except I use tahini (kind of like sesame "butter") instead of the sesame oil. I had never though of trying the oil - tasty! - 1/9/09
