Chocolate Banana Brownies

Ingredients
9 T. cocoa powder1/2 cup margarine/butter combination3 T. sugar2 eggs3/4 c. sugar1 cup flour1 large banana, mashed1/2 tsp. baking powder1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Melt margarine/butter on stove top, add cocoa powder and the 3 T. of sugar. (Alternately, you can melt together 1/3 cup butter and 6 oz. chocolate chips). Remove from heat.

In mixing bowl, whisk eggs until thick and lemon colored. Stir in 1 cup sugar. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate mixture. Stir together flour and baking powder. Add to chocolate mixture, blend well. Add pecans, mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until center springs back when lightly pressed.
