Orange and Date Muffins

Ingredients
1 whole orange1/2 cup orange juice1/2 cup chopped dates1 egg1/2 butter or margerine1.5 cups flour3/4 cup sugar1 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt
Directions
Makes 12 muffins
Cut a whole orange into pieces and remove the seeds.
Put orange (peel and all) plus 1/2 cup of orange juice into a blender or food processor and blend.
Add 1 egg and 1/2 cup of dates and blend

Mix dry ingrediants together and then add wet to dry.
Stir with a fork until just mixed.
Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes
