You never said when/how to add the lemon. i just rubbed a bit on the fish before I sprinkled on the spices. It's in the oven now--I hope it turns out ok - 9/14/09

The last time I made it I combined the lemon juice with the seasoning and butter and then drizzled it all over the fish.I also covered the fish with tin foil to keep it from drying out.Hope that helps.

I followed the directions to the "t" - my daughter, husband, and myself give it a "bad" vote. I will not be making this again. - 3/16/09

Yeah, the ingredients were rough estimates of what I put in.I followed it to a T awhile back and it wasn't as good as I remembered it being.I just made it again tonight and I added more salt and used the juice of a lime, but you could use a lemon. It was a lot better.Sorry it didn't turn out for you.

I used the suggestion of melting butter & adding spices to that. Made a nice paste that I brushed onto the fish. To me, who's only been eating fish recently, the baking (since it cooked in it's own juices) made it a bit fishy. But would definitely try again & broil fish instead. Hubby LOVED it! - 5/12/11

I have made this twice, and, actually messed up the recipe both times (LOL) and it was still yummy! Both times, I pan fried the salmon in olive oil. The first time, I put the herbs in too early, and they burnt, but, it was still good. The second time, I forgot the butter - still good! - 12/10/08

We also melted the butter and added the spices to it, very yummy. Served with a garden salad, brown rice, and veggies. Even the kids ate it! - 11/14/08

I'm glad everyone seems to like it.I like salmon, but my husband is not a huge fan and he likes this recipe as well. It's so simple, but so good. :)
