Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
2 cups uncooked large elbow macaroni8oz (2 cups) coursely chopped cheddar cheese2 Tbsp margarine2 Tbsp flour2 cups 1% milksalt and pepper (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large saucepan pring 2 quarts water to boil. Add macaroni. Boil 5 minutes. Drain; place in non-stick 2-quart casserole dish. Add cheese; set aside. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt margarine. Blend in flour. Slowly stir in milk; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute or until thickened. Add pepper and salt, if desired. Pour sauce over macaroni mixture. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes approximately 5, one cup servings.
