2.25 C Unsifted All Purpose Flour1 Tbsp. Baking Soda1/2 C unsalted butter1/2 C applesauce1/4 C granulated sugar3/4 C light brown sugar, packed1 pkg, (3.9 oz) Jello Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix1 tsp. Vanilla Extract1 12 oz. pkg Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips1 C chopped nuts (optional) not used in these calculations
Mix flour with baking soda. combine butter, sugars, applesauce, pudding mix, and vanilla in large mixer bowl.; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff! Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen. (I got 75 cookies out of it)
