Chicken Italiano for Slow Cooker

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs ( 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lb.)1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 cup halved pitted ripe olives2 tbsp capers1 tsp dried oregano leaves1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves, crushed1/2 tsp garlic powder1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained1/4 cup water1 tbsp cornstarch
1. Place chicken thighs in 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker. Top with onion, olives, and capers. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, rosemary and garlic powder. Pour tomatoes over chicken.
2. Cover; cook on low setting for 7 to 10 hours.
3. About 15 minutes before serving, with slotted spoon, remove chicken and vegetables from slow cooker; place on serving platter. Cover to keep warm.
4. In small bowl, blend water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir into liquid in slow cooker. Increase heat setting to high; cover and cook an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened. Serve chicken with sauce.
