Ramen Carbonara

Ingredients
1 package Top Ramen (any flavor---the recipe doesn't use the seasoning package)2 slices bacon, diced1/8 tsp minced garlic3/4 cup fresh or frozen peas1/2 cup heavy cream1/4 cup (heaping cup) Parmesan cheese1/4 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp dried parsley
Directions
1. Discard seasoning packet and cook Ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Over medium heat, cook bacon until done.

3. Over medium-low heat, add peas and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add noodles and saute for a few minutes. Remove from heat.

4. In a small bowl, mix cream, Parmesan cheese, pepper, and parsley. Pour over pasta mixture and mix well. Serve with Parmesan cheese and sprig of fresh parsley if desired.

Serves 2 as a main dish, 3-4 as a side dish. Nutritional info is for 2 servings.
