Herb Marinated Grilled Halibut

1/2 tbsp tarragon1/2 tbsp dill1/2 tbsp basil2 tbsp lemon juice1/2 tsp Olive Oil2 Garlic cloves4 halibut steaks1/4 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper
In a small bowl, combine herbs, lemon juice, oil, and garlic, mix well. Place halibut on large plate. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper, and spoon herb mixture over fish. Let stand at room temperatur for 15 minutes to marinate. Meanwhile, heat grill. When ready to grill, place fish on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, turning once. If desired, sprinkle fish with additional chopped herbs before serving.
Makes 4 servings.
Note: To broil halibut, place on broiler pan, broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using time above as a guide, turning once.
