Healthy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

2 cups white flour2 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt2 tsp. ground cinnamon1 tsp. ground nutmeg1/2 tsp. ground cloves2 cups honey 1 tsp. molasses1/4 cup applesauce OR pineapple juice6 egg whites + 1 egg1 cup milk29 oz. can of pumpkin1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or less if you prefer)
Preheat oven to 350
Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Mix wet ingredients together and slowly add dry. Spoon batter into 2 (9x5 inch) loaf pans that have been greased. Bake for 45-60 min. until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool loaves in pans on wire rack for 10 min. Remove from pans and cool loaves completely.
Yield: 2 loaves, 16 slices per loaf (serving size 1 slice)
