Cassie's Apple Crisp

Ingredients
6 T Butter4 small apples, cored, peeled and thin sliced3/4 cup rolled oats3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/3 cup brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 F.

Place butter in 9X9 pan and place in oven to melt. Core and slice apples, peel if desired.

Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour melted butter over it and stir till moistened. Place apple slices in pan already buttered from melting butter. Sprinkle topping over the apples, and bake for 30 minutes.

Divide into 4 pieces. Enjoy

    This was okay. The topping came out rather dry and 1/2 hour didn't seem to be enough time to really cook the apples. I would go 45 minutes. I also added a bit of cinnamon over the top for a bit of flavor - 10/28/09
