100% Whole Wheat Garlic Herb Biscuits

1/2 lb whole wheat flour (approx 1.75 c)2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt1.5 tsp dried thyme1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp onion powder3 Tbsp butter1 c. buttermilk or sour milk (can make by adding 1 tsp vinegar to milk)
Preheat oven to 450. Spray baking pan with cooking spray.
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until it is the texture of course cornmeal. Add enough milk to form a soft dough. Shape into 12 biscuits.
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
