Pork Sauerbraten Stew

3 lbs Pork Chops2 cups Tap Water1 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar2 Carrots, diced2 Medium Onions, sliced2 Bay Leaves2 Tbsp Sugar1 Tbsp Salt1/2 tsp Coarsely Ground Black Pepper1/4 tsp Ground cloves1/2 cup Ginger snap crumbs1 small head red cabbage, cored and sliced
Heat an electric skillet or wok to 250 degrees.
Mix in all ingredients except cabbage and ginger snaps, cover.
Cover and cook for 3 hours; add water as necessary, and stir every 10-15 minutes.
Stir in ginger snaps and cabbage. Cover, and cook for another 30 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes as above.
Best served with potato dumplings.
