1/3 cup rolled oats1/3 cup water1/3 cup milk1/2 Tbs ground flax seeddash salt1 small carrot, graded1/2 cup applesauce1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut1 Tbsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts1 tsp. brown sugar
1. Combine the oats, water, milk, flax seed, carrot, applesauce and salt in a small pan. Leave to sit for 10 minutes. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
2. Add the coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon, cook for another 2-5 minutes, until the oats reach the desired consistency.
3. Serve and top with walnuts.
