4 cups bran cereal ( I use Fiber One Honey Clusters)2 tsp baking powder2 tbsp cinnamon2 tsp nutmeg1 tsp salt8 tbsp flax seed1 c unsweetened apple sauce2 eggs1 tbsp vanilla extract4 mashed bananas1/2 c mini chocolate chips1 1/2 c walnuts
350 degrees
Mix banana, applesauce, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and flax in a blender until bananas are liquid (or of desired chunkiness) Mash bran flakes in bag until they are powdery. Slowly stir into liquid mixture. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips (or raisins).
Scoop onto a greased cookie sheet with an ice cream scooper (or you can cook them in muffin tins).
Bake about 20 to 25 minutes. They should be solid and slightly browned. They do not get very brown.
