Anita's Favorite Sausage and Veggie Pasta

Ingredients
6 oz smoked summer sausage or soft beef salami cut in cubes3-4 diced tomatoes or 1 basket of cherry or grape tomatoes1 bundle fresh basil, chopped8 oz (1 tub) whole milk fresh mozzarella balls2-21/2 cups steamed broccoli crowns4 servings whole wheat rotelle or penne pasta2 tbsp olive oil2 tbsp grated parmesan cheesesalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Boil water in a large pot and add pasta. While pasta is cooking, rinse veggies, slice or dice tomatoes, cut sausage in cubes, chop basil, cut mozzarella balls in cubes, steam broccoli and put everything in a large serving bowl. When pasta is done, drain and add to the serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan, salt and pepper to taste. Toss with salad forks and serve.

Makes approximately 8 1.5 cup servings.
