Vegan BBQ Meatballs

I block of silken tofu1/2 an onion, chopped into chunksGarlic powder to taste2 Tbs. Braggs Liquid Aminos or Soy Sauce (or to taste)1 C finely ground pecans1 1/2 C crushed saltine crackers or bread crumbs
In a blender combine the silken tofu, onion, garlic, and Braggs or soy sauce. Blend until smooth. In a medium bowl combine crushed crackers or bread crumbs with ground pecans. Pour blended tofu mixture into crackers/pecans and stir to combine. Form mixture into small or medium sized meatballs and place on lightly sprayed cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until slightly browned on top. Transfer meatballs to casserole dish and cover with diluted BBQ sauce or other sauce of choice and return to over to bake until sauce is bubbly and the meatballs have absorbed the liquid somewhat.
You could also serve these meatballs with pasta and garlic bread. They are very versatile.
