Ingredients
1 pound of ground beef1 can of fat-free refried beans1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese1 medium onion, chopped6 plum tomatoes, chopped1 medium bell pepper, choppedchili powder to tastegarlic powder to taste
Directions
1. Brown ground beef. While the beef is browning, you can add some chili powder and garlic to it. Also, you can be chopping the onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes.

2. When ground beef is browned, drain it. Then return to stove and add onions, bell pepper and tomatoes. I like to add additional chili powder and garlic powder here. Simmer this mixture until onions and bell pepper are soft.

3. After about 10 minutes, add the refried beans and the cheddar cheese. You do not need to add water or any other liquid. You will want to add more chili powder and garlic powder to your taste.

4. Simmer for about 5 more minutes to blend flavors.

5. Spoon into a bowl and serve.

This will make about 8 one cup servings. It stores well and tastes better the next day.

Hope you enjoy!
