Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 lbs Beef chuck, cut into 1"x1" cubes3 medium baking potatoes8 oz. bag of baby carrots4 celery stalks, chopped1 can pearl onions1 can whole tomatoes1/2 cup red wine2 beef buillon dissolved in 4 cups water3 cloves garlic2 T olive oil1/4 c floursalt and pepper to tastethyme to taste
Directions
Toss cubed beef in flour and brown over medium heat in large pot or dutch oven for about 15 mins. Add beef buillon, canned tomatoes, garlic, and thyme. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add potatoes, celery, carrots, and onions. Simmer an additional 1.5 hours or until tender.

Makes 8 servings.
