It would be much more helpful if people would not rate or write a review until they have actually made the recipe. Reviews from people who have no idea how the food actually tastes make the rating system worthless. I already know how it "sounds" or "looks." Thanks. - 1/5/10

Tastes exactly the same as dousing chicken in a jar of pre-made honey barbecue sauce. No more, no less. I was thinking maybe the sauce would at least get sticky and glazey to approximate the fast-food version. It's fine, but with all due respect, I can't understand how this won. - 12/5/09

I baked for 15 minutes to get it nice and crisp without letting them burn and served atop a greens salad. DELICIOUS! - 1/9/10

Kicked it up a notch with cajun seasonings. It was great! Something the whole family enjoyed--and that's a huge plus. Served with a salad and baked sweet potato fries. - 1/5/10

Not Exactly a Substitute... I could definitely eat it with brown rice and maybe some pineapple. It's definitely not a substitute. Not very sweet, not crispy at all, and not fantastic at all but could be a part of a sensible meal. - 7/9/10

I think what Wendy's does is just toss nuggets in sauce. I think a better re-make would be to bread the chicken with egg whites and bread crumbs and oven fry so it crisps up. Reduce the sauce in a pot so it thickens and gets sticky, toss some with the nuggets and pass the rest at the table. - 1/5/11

This recipe was ok, but when I want wings, I crave the crispy factor! Might try with bread crumbs or something similar next time. - 2/25/10

Doesn't remind me of wings. Just barbequed chicken. The chicken came out tender; I seasoned it with Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb prior to marinating it. - 2/7/10

I have a Microwave Convection Oven---I first microwaved it for 12 minutes(6+6) and then roasted it in the Convection Oven for 10 minutes---not very crispy but ice---and main point---HEALTHY!!! - 9/30/10

For the people looking for a low sodium BBQ sauce, I've made this myself and it's really good.

If you cute your pieces small enough they definitely don't need to cook for so long. Mine turned out burnt and well just not good. I agree with the other person who said they just tasted like dousing chicken in BBQ sauce from a jar. Not a fan. - 1/1/10

This was very good. I did half according to the recipe and half using maple syrup instead of honey. I liked the maple flavored barbeque better. - 10/1/10

I can't believe this recipe won a contest! I wouldn't call this recipe "boneless BBQ chicken wings." It's BBQ checken breasts! Ridiculous! - 10/3/11

I had to add some hot seasonings to them but they are great. - 9/30/10

Very simple to make. Thought these were good, but nothing special. Felt something was lacking. I do imagine it does matter what kind of BBQ sauce you use, in order to get a good flavor. None the les- good, easy, and simple - 1/7/10
