Appalacian blue cornbread

Ingredients
1 T oil2 c blue cornmeal1 t salt1/2 t baking soda1/2 t baking powder1 egg1 1/2 c soy milk
Directions
Preheat oven 450. Heat oil in cast iron skillet and put into oven to heat. Mix all ingredients except oil. Remove pan from oven with potholder. Tip pan so oil coats pan. Add to batter, stir, and add batter to pan. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
