Pumpkin Bread baked in coffee cans

Flour, white, 2 cup Whole Wheat Flour, 1.0 cup Salt, .25 tsp Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar, 2 cup Apple Sauce (Motts) Unsweetened, 1.25 cup Egg, fresh, 4 large Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped Pumpkin, canned, without salt, 2 cup ( can use fresh pumpkin instead)
Sift together dry ingredients, mix sugar and applesauce and beat well. Add eggs and pumpkin to sugar mixture ,
add flour mixture and beat well. add nuts.
Spray three (3) 1-lb coffee cans, divide batter evenly and bake at 375degrees. about 45 min. Let cool in cans, remove - slice thin.
Also can be baked it in loaf pans, as long as the cake tester comes out clean.
