Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients
1 deep dish frozen pie crust1 can Cream of Chicken Soup1 bag/box frozen mixed veggies1/4 stick unsalted butter, melted1 tbsp. garlic powder2 cans of chicken, white meat, 98% fat free1/4 cup water
Directions
Thaw pie crust and bake for 5 minutes in a 400 degree oven. Melt butter while the crust bakes.

Microwave frozen veggies in a bowl with 1/4 cup water on high for 8 minutes. While veggies cook, mix in a bowl the soup, drained chicken, butter and garlic salt. Add in veggies after they are cooked.

Pour pie mixture into the baked pie crust, and bake pot pie at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.

    Good recipe except it calls for too much garlic. Change the garlic to 1 tsp if you love garlic or 1/2 tsp if you prefer less. I also added about 1/4 tsp onion powder and used the Healthy Request Cream of Chicken. Overall good, I'll be making it again, with the adjustments. - 2/4/08
