Firestenberg's Chili

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)2 garlic cloves, crushed1 can (16 oz) whole tomatoes2-3 Tbsp chili powder2 tsp salt1 tsp sugar1 tsp Worcestershire sauce2 cans (30 oz) kidney beans, drained
Directions
Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in saucepan until beef is light brown, drain. Stir in tomatoes (with liquid), chili powder, salt, sugar, Worcestershire sauce. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in beans. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, simmer uncovered until hot, about 15 minutes. (For thicker chili continue simmering, stirring occassionally.) Makes 6 (approx) 1 cup servings.
