Ingredients
1/4 cup maple syrup (real Maple Syrup)2 tablespoons soy sauce1 clove garlic, mincedsprinkling of black pepper1 pound salmon
Directions
1. Mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, and pepper in a bowl.
2. Pour liquid in a baking dish and place salmon (skin side up) in the marinade. Marinade for 30-40 mintues.
3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees amd place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake salmon covered (with foil) 20 minutes. Take off foil and bake until it flakes with a fork, usually about another 5 mintues. Covering with the foil will keep the sauce from burning and then uncovering it will get the salmon to cook a bit more with thickening the sauce up a bit.
4. Spoon sauce over salmon and serve with rice and a veggie! Enjoy!
