Pork Rice Casserole

Ingredients
3/4 lb pork sausage1 c chopped celery (optional)1 c chopped onions (or Tbsp dried flakes)1 med green pepper, finely chopped (optional)1 1/2 c uncooked rice3 cans of chicken noodle soup1 1/2 c water1/2 c slivered almonds (optional)
Directions
Brown sausage slightly. Break into small pieces and place in a large casserole dish. Mix in vegetables, rice, soup, water, and almonds. Cover. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 hours (alternative is 350 degrees for about 1 hour?)

Makes 12 servings (about 3/4 cup each)
