Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients
Directions
1 large head of cabbage2 lbs lean ground beef1 1/2 cups prepared brown rice1 large egg (beaten)1 1/2 tsp salt3/4 tso pepper3 cans tomato soup2 1/2 cups water
remove core from head of cabbage
steam or boil cabbage until you can remove leaves
heat oil and saute onions
Mixture:
combine ground beef, prepared rice, egg, salt, papper, onions and 1 can of tomato paste
Use approx 3 oz of mixture to each cabbage leaf and fold.
in baking pan, place some unused leaves to cover bottom
place cabbage rolls (seam down) in pan
Pour 2 cans of tomato soup with 2 1/2 cups of water and pour over the cabbage rolls
cover rolls with remaining extra leaves
cover with alum foil
bake at 375 degrees for one hour (or until done)
makes approx 15 (1 per serving)
