South Beach Thai Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
6 c Low Sodium Chicken Broth8 oz Low Sodium V81/4 c Rice Vinegar1/4 c Lime Juice3 tbsp Soy Sauce3 c Shredded Cabbage1/2 c green onion1.5 c Cauliflower chopped1 c sliced raw mushrooms2 c Bean Sprouts1 c chopped celery1 c diced tomatoes1 tsp grated ginger root3 cloves chopped garlic1/2 tsp lemon grass1/2 tsp thai chili sauce
Directions
Put everything in pot and simmer. I freeze in individual bags then add protein to it as I reheat. Some suggestions are chicken, prawns, beans.

When in Phase 2 can add pineapple to this.

    I make similar but include kale and spinach and the chicken broth I use has the Thai flavors in it (Swanson Thai Ginger Infused Chicken Broth) a bit of a short cut. - 1/28/14
