2 tbsp olive oil3 cups shredded cabbage1 large onion, chopped2 tsp garlic, chopped1/2 tsp ground chilli1 tsp turmeric1 tsp salt1 tsp garam masalajuice of 1 lemon
1. Heat the oil and fry the onion, cabbage and garlic until lightly coloured.
2, Add spice and salt. Cover and cook over low heat until tender.
3. Uncover pan. raise the heat to boil off the excess liquid then sprinkle with lemon juice to taste
