Spaghetti & meat sauce

Ingredients
2 tbsp veg oil, 2 tbsp dried chopped onions, 2 tbsp dried parsley1 to 1.2 lbs of 93% lean ground beef2 15 oz cans tomato puree, 1 12 oz can tomato paste, 12 oz of water2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground pepper, 1/2 tsp sugar16 oz package of angel hair or spaghetti
Directions
Saute onions & parsley in veg oil
Add ground beef & brown well, then drain
Add tomato puree, paste, & water, stir well.
Add remaining spices, stir well.
Heat to slow boil, then simmer covered on low for at least 45 min.
Boil angel hair or spaghetti per instructions on box, drain.
Put sauce over pasta & serve.
Makes 6 large (full plate, ~ 550 cal) or 8 moderate (~415 cal) servings, keeps well as leftovers.
