Beef with mushrooms

Ingredients
Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices (remove)Sherry Cooking Wine 2 Tbsp. (30mL), 5 serving (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Bay Leaf, 1 tsp, crumbled (remove)*Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched, 0.19 cup (remove)Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 2.75 lb (remove)*Canola Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
Directions
In large skill over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook roast until well browned on both sieds. Dice mushrooms and add,sherry, 1/2 cup of water, salt and bay leaf to skilled; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simer for 2 hours until meat is fork tender, turning once.
When roast is done, place on warm platter; keep warm, Incup, blend flour and 3 tbsp of water. Gradually stir into liquid in skilled; cook, stirring, until slightly thickened; discard bay leaf.
To serve pour some gravy over roast. Pass remaining gravy in gravy goat.
