CE Cranberry Sauce with Apples and Ginger

Cranberries, 2 cup, whole (12 oz. package)Apples, fresh, 1 medium, cored and coarsely choppedHoney, 1/2 cupWater, 1/2 cupGinger Root, minced, 1 1/2 TbspLemon juice, 1/2 of lemonLemon Zest, 1/2 of lemon
Add all ingredients to large saucepan and bring to boil over medium high heat. Reduce to medium low and cook for 8-10 minutes until cranberries breakdown and mixture thickens. Stir often to prevent sticking.
Transfer to storage container or serving dish. Cover and chil for at least 3 hours. Keeps for five days in fridge.
