Ingredients
2 cups Bisquick mix 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 egg 1/3 cup of water 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine everything EXCEPT the granulated sugar in a big bowl. Stir together until everything is thoroughly combined. Shape into balls about an inch in diameter and then roll in the granulated sugar. Place onto a lined or ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Use your hands or the bottom of a glass to flatten your cookies out. They should be about 1/4 inch thick. Bake for 8 minutes*, or until golden brown around the edges.

*I baked my cookies for 8 minutes using our Japanese microwave oven. Please watch your cookies as the time may vary by oven.

AWESOME cookies! I managed to get about 2 dozen out of the batch that I made. They are kind of sticky, so, maybe refrigerate the dough? And yes, they took right at about 8 minutes in my conventional oven! Bisquick makes them nice and fluffy, but, light! - 8/27/10
