I have found that starting my day with a nice smoothie really helps. I take a Slimfast, vanilla, add 1 c of strawberries, fresh, and add one tbsp of soy protein. I throw it all in the blender and that is a super breakfast. I also add a slice of multi grain wheat toast to go with it and I Can't Believe it's Not Butter to the toast. I follow that with at least one 8 oz. glass of ice cold water!
This makes one serving size. I always buy my strawberries fresh, use what I can, and then freeze the remainder. That way when you add the strawberries, they're fresh, and also, make it a nice smoothie/icie!!
