German Potato Salad

Ingredients
4 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) *Potato, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped Onions, raw,1/4 cup Water,. 1/2 cup cold Water, 1 T. Flour, white, .1 TGranulated Sugar,1/4 tsp Celery seed, .1/4 tsp Salt, .1/8 tsp Pepper, black, 2 tbsp Vinegar1 tbsp cooked Bacon Pieces, 1 tbsp Parsley
Directions
Peel and slice the meduim potatoesin a covered sauce pan for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain
Prepare salad dressing in the same saucepan cook onions cover in the 1/4 cup water for 3to 4 minutes till tender, do not drain.
Mean while in a small bowl stir in to the cold water the flour till smooth. Stir mixture into the undrained onions.Stir in the sugar , celery seed, salt and pepper; cook and stir till thickened. Stir in vinegar . Stir in the potatoes and bacon pieces. Cook 2- 3 minutes. Transfer to serving bowl and Sprinkle with parsley.
