1 lb lean ground beef2 pkgs (8 oz each) diced green peppers and onions1/2 cups matchstix carrots8 oz sliced mushrooms1 can crushed tomatoes with italian herbs2 cans drained dark red kidney beans1 can crushed pineapple, drained2 Tbsp chili powderGarlic powder to tasteSalt and Pepper to taste
Makes 10 servings.
1. Brown ground beef in skillet on medium. Drain off excess fat.
2. Add beef, peppers and onions, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, pineapple, and chili powder to a slow cooker. Stir and cover. Cook 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
