Marinara sauce

Ingredients
1 tsp fresh garlic1 can stewed tomatoes, drainedtomato paste, one 6 ounce can1 tsp fresh chopped basil1 whole yellow onion1 large chopped zucchini1 cup green bell pepper4 ounces merlot1/2 cup mushrooms1 tsp dried Italian seasoningsalt and pepper
Directions
Puree 1/2 the onion, the zucchini,garlic,basil and stewed tomatoes until smooth.
Once in the pot simmer on low for 1 hour with the remaining ingredients. Makes 12 1 cup servings, roughly.
