Egg Nog Bread

Ingredients
0.25 cup unsalted butter0.75 cup sugar2 eggs, beaten2.25 cups flour2 Tsp Baking Powder1 Tsp Salt1 cup Egg Nog0.5 cup raisins0.5 cup green candied cherries, cut in half0.5 cup red candied cherries, cut in halfOptional (and not included in calories):0.5 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
Melt the butter, and add to sugar. Mix well, and add in eggs, continue mixing well. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into batter alternatively with egg nog. Mix this only until dry ingredients are moistened. Add fruit (and nuts if using) and fold well. Pour into a loaf pan, and bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until tests done (depending on oven temperatures and the size of your loaf pan).
