Five-Spice Shrimp

Ingredients
2 tsp olive oil1 large onion, diced1/4 tsp ginger2 Tbsp minced garlic1/4 tsp chili powder1 tsp turmeric powder1 tsp ground cumin8 tsp ground coriander2 medium tomatoes, diced1 pound large shrimp, shelled and deveined
Directions
Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sauté onion until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Add it spices and tomatoes to pan; simmer 5 minutes. In a separate pan, sauté shrimp 30 seconds. Add sauce and stir continuously on high heat, 2 or 3 minutes, until most of the liquid evaporates. Serve over rice.
